Free music for your clips
Over 12,000 songs made by Synestia, free to use in your own videos, streams, podcasts and clips, monetized ones too. Pick one, download it, credit it.
How it works
No account, no fee, no form. Over 1,200 of the songs are instrumentals, the kind that goes under someone talking.
Pick a song
Browse by genre and mood. Instrumentals sit under talking; songs with vocals suit montages and edits.
Download it
Every song in the library has a Download button: you get an MP3 named after the song.
Credit it
Put "Music: <title> — Synestia (synestia.bot)" in your description. The button next to Download copies it for you.
25 genres
cinematic · ambient · lo-fi · phonk · synthwave · trap · house · drum & bass · metal · rock · electronic · r&b · gospel · acoustic · k-pop · hip-hop · pop · reggae · afrobeat · latin · soul · indie · jazz · funk · country
The licence, in full
Songs in the Synestia Free Library are free to use in your own videos, streams, podcasts and clips, on any platform, including monetized ones.
You must credit every song you use: put "Music: <title> — Synestia (synestia.bot)" in the description of your video, stream or episode. Where there is no description, put it in the caption or on screen.
Don't sell or distribute the song on its own (as a track, on streaming services or in sample packs), don't register it with a content-ID service, and don't present it as your own composition.
We don't register library songs with any content-ID service. Songs are provided as they are; we can remove a song from the library, and uses made while it was listed stay licensed.
The library is made of songs Synestia made itself, and songs whose creators chose to add them. It is section 5a of our Terms of Service.
Need something specific?
